Could Billy be the Kee to a successful season for Accrington?

Accrington Stanley have re-signed former striker Billy Kee after his release from League 1 outfit, Scunthorpe United.

The 24 year old had been loaned to fellow League 2 side Mansfield for the second half of last season after failing to register a goal in 13 league appearances at his parent club. Kee has also played for Burton Albion, Torquay and Leicester during his career, whilst at Leicester, Kee was loaned to Accrington for the duration of the 2009/10 campaign and notched up 9 goals in his time in Lancashire.

Billy Kee is certainly a good acquisition for any League 2 side, proven with his track record of 59 goals in 193 League 2 outings. Kee’s relative youth also makes him a shrewd signing.
