Fulham bid for Wolves’ McDonald

Fulham have put in a £1m bid for Wolves midfielder Kevin McDonald, according to Sky Sources.

The midfielder has been at Wolves since 2013 after joining from Sheffield United for a fee believed to be in the region of £750,000.

He has since made himself a regular in Kenny Jackett’s starting XI – playing all 46 league games last season as Wolves narrowly missed out on the play-offs.

The London club have also been linked with Wolves defender Richard Stearman, who was given the club’s Player of the Year award for last season.

They also yesterday acquired the services of Tom Cairney from Blackburn who joined Craven Cottage on a four year deal.
