According to reports, Brentford’s Spanish playmaker Jota is wanted by a number of clubs including Premier League new boys Bournemouth.

Jota was signed at the start of last season from Spanish club Celta Vigo, for a reported £1.5m, the club record transfer fee paid for a player.

His first few years were nothing but stressful for the midfielder, being demoted to play for the Celta B side making nearly 70 appearances he went on loan to Second Divison side, Eibar. He impressed massively, scoring 11 goals and one of them being the winner against Alaves to confirm their promotion to La Liga, the first in the clubs history.

Brentford scouts saw exactly what he could do and forked out top money for the Spaniard and he didn’t disappoint. Playing 46 games in all competitions and becoming a fans favourite in their surge to the play-offs. Scoring 11 goals and going on a four gaming scoring spree between November and December, one of those goals coming in 90th minute to beat rivals, Fulham.

Clubs after the midfielder will know what he offers to the club. He acquires great pace and dribbling and can beat a man in an instant. With goals and assists in his locker, he will be ready for the move to the Premier League.
