Fulham are close to the signing of Andy Lonergan from Bolton.
According to the Bolton News, the Cottagers have very nearly completed a deal for the goalkeeper, who is now a free agent after his release from Wanderers this summer.
The 31-year old spent three years at the Macron stadium and played over 60 games for the club during his time there. His time in goal became more limited with the emergence of Adam Bogdan and it has now led to his release from the squad.
He’s also spent a large amount of time at other Football League clubs – he spent eleven years with Preston and he’s also played in goal for Blackpool and Leeds – and his next team could very well be Fulham.
