N.B: Millwall’s retained list was released on 7 May but other commitments have postponed the publishing of this article.
Millwall have announced the release of 18 players in their retained list.
The most notable departure would be captain Alan Dunne after fifteen years at the club (22 if you include his youth career). The defender has made 390 appearances for the Lions during his time at the club and his name will no doubt go down in the history books of the team.
Ricardo Fuller will also be looking for a new club despite making several appearances for the Lions throughout 2014/15 and so will Martyn Woolford who also played a key role for Millwall during last season.
Ex-Everton man Magaye Gueye will also be moving on, as will defender Danny Shittu.
