So with another transfer window approaching, many fans are begging for another complete overhaul in the squad. Although under now permanent manager, Dave Robertson, this appears unlikely, there is little doubt that at least a handful of quality, ready-to-go players need to be added to the squad. But even with this in mind, I believe that there are players in this squad who we cannot afford to lose. Players who I feel will be our best next season, regardless of who we bring in.
So, I have narrowed these players down to the four I believe to be the most valuable in our current squad, and ones that we cannot afford to lose in the summer transfer window.
