Bournemouth agree deal for Federici

AFC Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici on a three-year deal, according to getreading.

The Australian goalkeeper will join the Cherries on a free transfer as he is out of contract in the summer.

Federici made a total of 49 appearances for the Royals this season, 43 of those in the Championship where he cemented the position of Reading’s first choice keeper.

Despite talks being held to try and keep the 30-year-old at Reading, Bournemouth’s Premier League status was enough to lure Federici to the South Coast.

He is due for his medical at Bournemouth tomorrow before his move to the Goldsands Stadium is official confirmed.
