With the following tweet, the usually reliable Phil Hay, Yorkshire Evening Post reporter on Leeds United, put forward the notion that Rob Kelly (above right) was to become the number 2 at Elland Road and assistant to new Leeds head coach Uwe Rösler. Understand that Rob Kelly – ex Leicester manager – is in line to become Uwe Rosler's assistant at Leeds United. #lufc

Kelly, whose last appointment was at Premier League West Bromwich Albion, where he ‘departed’ on January 5 2015 is a surprise name and one who comes with a wealth of coaching experience with previous stints at Preston, Nottingham and Sheffield Wednesday. As Uwe Rösler’s backroom staff appears to be beginning to shape up, should this rumour (which it is at the moment albeit from a reliable source) firm up then it might give Leeds fans some added hope that plans are being put in place in advance of the coming Championship campaign.
