Every Hardy needs a Laurel*
Strikers like Troy Deeney, Callum Wilson and Daryl Murphy rightly grab the headlines at their respective clubs for their goal-scoring exploits, exploits which often place their teams highly in the league. However, behind these free-wheeling and high-scoring stars, there are often very good strikers who are in danger of becoming almost forgotten men behind their more illustrious partners. However every Morcambe needs a Wise, every Barker a Corbett and every Cannon a Ball.
Here’s a little look at some of those hopefully ‘not’ forgotten men.
