From Champions League to Championship? Well, maybe. Martinez appeared in 2 Champions League games and 4 Premiership games for the Gunners before being loaned out to Rotherham, where he performed admirably, contributing heavily to their survival. A free agent in a few weeks, it’s unclear if Arsenal are planning to bring the 22 year old back. If they don’t, it’s a very real possibility that he chooses to go back to the Yorkshire side so as to get first team football. If they do, a season long loan could still happen.
