MK Dons have had a bid for Will Grigg rejected by Brentford, according to Sky Sports.
The 23-year old spent the 2014/15 season on loan at the Dons and after a superb season – in which he bagged 22 goals for the club as they were promoted to the Championship – they are keen to sign him permanently.
The bid, which has been rejected by Brentford, was below the Bees £1m valuation of the striker, which could be one of the reasons why it has been turned down.
He has just a year left on his current deal at Griffin Park and if another bid does come in from Karl Robinson’s side – or any side for that matter – then Brentford could end up cashing in on him.
