#RETAINED – Leeds let go of Austin

Leeds United are the latest club to release their retained list, with the Football League season now over.

Nine players at Elland Road will not be offered new deals but new contracts have been offered to eight other players and three scholars have been offered pro terms.

19-year old Kalvin Phillips is one of the few to be offered a new contract at the club after impressing in his two first-team games – he even managed to bag a goal despite playing just twice!

Also offered new terms are Lewis Walters and Lewie Coyle, as United look to keep hold of all the future prospects they currently have at the club.

In addition to these players, three second-year scholars have also been told they can sign professional deals with the club. The scholars are Tom Lyman, Frank Mulhern and Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
