Le Fondre gone, Beckford back?

Adam Le Fondre has had a great time at Bolton, scoring goals left, right and centre however his loan spell is coming to an end and he will return back to Cardiff. Lennon has said himself that he would love to keep the forward and Le Fondre has said that he is settled at Bolton but the Trotters can’t afford him. Scoring 8 goals in 17 games, he will be a great loss for a team that struggled to mount any significant run of form last season.

Beckford however, who they have loaned out to Preston, has been in fine form recently as well, scoring 12 goals in 21 games. His most recent goal was crucial for Preston who are hoping to get into the Championship themselves, in a play-off semi-final victory.

The Trotters aren’t short on strikers with Heskey and Gudjohnsen soon to be signing an extra one year deal and the young star Zach Clough, who is hoping to come back from injury soon. Youngster, Clough, has scored 5 goals in 8 games and is showing great potential, which is putting Crystal Palace and QPR on alert.
