Fulham eye-up United goalkeeper

Newcastle United’s goalkeeper Rob Elliot is reportedly on the wanted list at Fulham, according to the Newcastle Evening Chronicle.

At the age of 29, the left-out goalkeeper reportedly wants to move away from Newcastle due to very little starting opportunities since joining from Charlton, and wishes to return to capital city London.

After being at the club for four years, Elliot has only made 15 league appearances and wants to progress with first team chances, which Newcastle are not offering.

Elliot, who stands at 6’2″ tall has previously played at Charlton, Notts County and Accrington Stanley, before joining Newcastle in the summer of 2011.
