The PFA have revealed who has made the cut for the Championship Team of the Year, which is voted for by the players in the Championship.
Comprising of players from nine different teams, with only Middlesbrough and Bournemouth having two players included, the diversity of clubs involved is a testament to the quality throughout the Championship.
Here is the team;

Left-back – George Friend (Middlesbrough)
Centre-back – Russell Martin (Norwich City)
Centre-back – Richard Keogh (Derby County)
Right-back – Simon Francis (Bournemouth)
Centre-midfield – Grant Leadbitter (Middlesbrough)
Winger – Matt Ritchie (Bournemouth)
Attacking-midfield – Bakary Sako (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Winger – Alex Pritchard (Brentford)
Striker – Troy Deeney (Watford)
Striker – Daryl Murphy (Ipswich Town)
All players are from sides in the top 8 of the league apart from Westwood, the two top scorers of the league are included in the team (Deeney and Murphy), as well as the top assister (Ritchie).
Being the only player not from a team vying for promotion, Westwood’s inclusion in this team cannot be overlooked; he has kept the 2nd most clean sheets in the league, shutting out the opposing team in 17 games out of 44 appearances.
