League Two Betting Preview – 25/04/15

Saturday 25th April 2015 – 15:00 kick offs

  • Stevenage v Carlisle – Stevenage to win with both teams to score – 11/4

Stevenage go into Saturdays game unbeaten in 6 knowing that a win would guarantee them a play-off spot and up against a safe Carlisle side with nothing to play for. However Stevenage have relied on their attacking force to get their points recently, keeping just one clean sheet in their last 5 home games, and with Carlisle having the 2nd worst defence in the league and going into the game off of the back of a surprise victory over play-off hopefuls Plymouth last weekend the game looks to contain goals.

  • Bury v Wimbledon – Bury to win to nil – 11/10

Another clash that sees the home side desperate for a win and the away side with nothing to play for. However this time the home side are just two points off of an automatic play-off spot and are looking to make a late break into the top 3 of league two, whilst the away side are placed firmly in mid-table. Bury’s promotion chances were hindered on Tuesday night when they were beaten by a goal to nil by fellow promotion hopefuls Southend so will be looking to bounce back on Saturday. With Wimbledon finding the back of the net just once in their last four games and Bury winning without conceding 15 times already this season this bet seems like a banker.

  • Southend  v Luton – Score draw – 17/5

It’s a must win game for both sides at Roots Hall with Southend out of the promotion places on goal difference and their visitors out of the play-off places on goal difference – which is why the points will be shared and both teams will be left disappointed! With both sides having to go for the win and Luton coming into the game off of the back of a 3-0 victory the game looks likely to contain goals, despite Southend not conceding a in 7 games.
