League 2 Player of the Year – Nominees

The nominees for the League 2 Player of the Year award have been released by The Football League, with the winner set to be announced on April 19th, 2015.

The League has provided great entertainment throughout the season with constant action at the top and bottom of the table, and this award has previously gone to players such as Grant Holt, Craig Dawson, and Bournemouth’s Matt Ritchie.

With the automatic promotion places still not set in stone, and relegation to the Conference still looming large for some sides, the end of the season is set to be an enthralling one.

The nominees for this award include Shrewsbury Town’s Ryan Woods, Bury’s Danny Mayor, and Wycombe Wanderer’s Alfie Mawson.

Read on to see what has made the season so special for these three individuals.
