Leeds United starlet Lewis Cook is set to miss out on Saturday’s fixture vs Blackburn due to an injury sustained whilst on international duty.
The 18-year old youngster has picked up what is suspected ligament damage whilst playing for his country in their Under 19’s game against Azerbaijan.
Leeds manager, Neil Redfearn said: “We’re not at the stage of knowing how bad it is yet but he’ll be struggling for Blackburn. By all accounts the surface in France wasn’t the best and it’s unfortunate to say the least that he’s gone away fit and come back injured. But these things happen.”
The youngster has been a key player for the Leeds side this season, making 33 appearances this season so far.
