Everything is Premier, especially the price

As a Bradford City fan, I know what the lower leagues are like and how tough they are. I’ve seen us scrape a draw against Crewe to cruising past Chelsea. With all respect to Crewe of course, nobody could compare the likes of Marcus Haber to Eden Hazard. Recently however, I’ve noticed something incredibly interesting which is how rapidly the class and standard of ‘lower league football’ is increasing.

I can think back to examples of lower league players who have made it big. Joe Hart, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert all spring to mind.
