Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has stated that he will not sign any player unless they are required for the first team.

Jackett said: “If we feel there is someone that can improve our team, then we will sign a player, But we won’t take players floating on the first-team fringe.”

He also hinted that he plans on using the younger, developing players: “Those places are for young players.”

After signing the Football League’s top goal-scorer Benik Afobe in January, Wolves find themselves just hanging off the play-off places in 8th position, 2 points off.
