Oldham picked up their first win in 4 games with a 1-0 win away at Crewe which was the perfect present for Caretaker boss Dean Holden who was appointed till the end of the season last week. The Latics had dropped into danger at the bottom of the division but the win at Gresty Road put them 7 points above the relegation zone and one more win should seal their League 1 future for another year. Oldham face two tough games after Dale visit with a trip to Bradford and home game against league leaders Bristol City.

Key to the run in for Dale is they do face 4 of the top 7 in last 8 games and a trip to Barnsley on the last day of the season could be pivotal.
