It’s time for Tom Ince to grow up, according to Tony Cascarino.

Speaking to The Times, the former Chelsea, Millwall, Aston Villa and Gillingham striker said Ince needs to “grow up and make his own decisions” in the wake of the Hull City forward, currently plying his trade on loan at Derby County, refusing Gareth Southgate’s call up to the England under 21 squad.

Cascarino, who represented the Republic of Ireland 88 times, also said Monaco were put off signing Tom Ince because Paul Ince told the club his son was as good as James Rodriguez and because of this, wanted him to be on a similar financial deal.

Ince has contributed 6 goals in 11 games since joining Derby on loan and the Rams are currently 5 points outside of the automatic promotion spaces.
