Saturday may have seen Blackburn record a third successive Championship victory, triumphing 3-1 away to Charlton Athletic, but it also led to the unwanted sight of seeing their current injury list pass the ten player mark.

During the Valley victory, Gary Bowyer saw three more players limp off the pitch, with Craig Conway (hamstring), Lee Williamson (groin) and Doneil Henry (dead leg) all joining a rather busy Rover’s medical room.

Bowyer however, is hopeful that midfielder Williamson will be fit to face Brentford on tuesday night, with fellow sufferers hoping for the chance of a start with centre-back Matt Kilgallon and full-back Markus Olsson back in contention.

Despite the potential return to match-day football for three of the list, many are still left stricken, with Jason Lowe (foot), Grant Hanley (calf), David Dunn (calf), Josh King (hamstring), and Shane Duffy (knee) all remaining sidelined.

One thing is for sure, and that is that club physios Neil Fitzhenry, Liam McGarry and Jordan Demetriou will certainly be earning their wages over the coming weeks.
