Nottingham Forest missed the chance to close the gap between themselves and the top 6 to 6 points after a goalless draw at Elland Road on Saturday. Dougie Freedman was aware that Leeds are a side in form and was satisfied with a point from a tough away game. He told the Nottingham Post “I am not frustrated. Sometimes you have to be realistic and accept that a point is okay on the road and this is a very, very difficult side to play with a big crowd behind them. It is a good point.”
The draw leaves Forest in 9th place, 8 points behind Brentford in 6th. Freedman’s men will need to continue their impressive form of late if they are to make a late charge for the play-offs.
With Saturday’s draw, Leeds have now lost just 3 of their last 11 league games and look safe from relegation.
