Adryan upset at lack of chances

20-year old Brazilian Adryan has expressed his frustration at his lack of playing time at Elland Road in recent weeks. The former Flamengo man has made 9 starts for the Yorkshire side this season but has had chances hard to come by in the second half of the campaign.

The highly-rated youngster told the Yorkshire Evening Post ““Really, I don’t know what’s happening. The last game I was on the bench. Now I’m not in the squad again. I’m very sad. I want to play every time. I know I can play and I trust in myself. That’s true.”

Adryan has mostly featured in under 21 for The Whites in the last few weeks, a situation not many expected, especially after a string of impressive performances in November. Leeds have an option to buy the young playmaker at the end of his loan but the Brazilian wouldn’t be sold on a move, if he isn’t afforded more first team chances next season.

“I want to stay in England and stay in Leeds. But if it’s like this all the year, I don’t know. I don’t want it to stay like this for another season.”
