Ikpeazu back at Crewe

Uche Ikpeazu is back at Crewe Alexandra for a 3rd spell in just over a year. Ikpeazu had a successful spell at Crewe last season, scoring 4 goals in 15 games and helping Crewe avoid relegation from League 1. The big striker rejoined Steve Davis’ side in November but after just 8 games in his second spell he joined fellow League 1 side Doncaster Rovers, reportedly due to advice from his agent.

After a frustrating period at Donaster where Ikpeazu made just 3 starts, his loan was cut short by parent club Watford and has unsurprisingly joined up with his former teammates at Gresty Road. The big striker is a popular figure at Crewe due to his work-rate and power.

Crewe face a tough test at promotion hopefuls Preston North End this weekend and they’ll be hoping Ikpeazu can hit the ground running.
