Sheffield Wednesday are looking sign current on-loan Manchester United striker Will Keane on a permanent deal in the summer, according to The Star.
Keane, 22, has two years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, but has been given very little indication whether or not he has a future under Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.
Keane has been at Manchester United since he was just 10-years old, and was last year given the clubs ‘Young Player of the Season’ award.
Wednesday manager Stuart Grey is hoping to bring in Will Keane as well as Lewis McGugan who is currently on-loan from Watford.
He said: “Lewis and Will are two quality players. They are two good team players and are both excellent in possession.
“Lewis and Will are enjoying their football. The supporters can see the effort and commitment they are putting in.
“If we can bring in players of that calibre, it can only be great for Sheffield Wednesday.”
