Cardiff City have unveiled their new club crest which will be used on their 2015/16 season kit.

The new crest design has been introduced after the club decided to revert back to original home colours of blue.

Club owner Vincent Tan changed the shirt colour to red in 2012, which fans did not take to very easily.

The clubs website posted: “We very much hope you enjoy the final results, which includes the return to prominence of the Bluebird, as linked to the welcome return to traditional colours in January 2015.”

“Projecting our Welsh heritage, the stance was taken from the national flag, as has been seen on our crest or shirt for a number of years.”
