The second month of the season was then upon us and after such a great start to the season expectations were high. However, the early season form and talk of promotion was over sharpish as the Lions only managed to register a single point in the first month of Autumn meaning they lost four out of their five games that month. Millwall were back to their usual selves and giving fans a reality check.
