Goals galore for Huddersfield

JS48893763Chris Powell asked for time when he took over at Huddersfield, however he is already grabbing headlines with his side’s stark turnaround in performances. Coming into the weekend’s game against Blackpool, the Terriers has not lost in three games and it was clear to see they had carried this confidence through the international break. The 4-3-3 system with Grant Holt spearheading the attack has worked wonders for Huddersfield and it was Holt who opened the scoring after just four minutes, his first since joining on loan from Wigan. The lead was soon then added to, not once, but twice as a brace from Harry Bunn appeared to put the game to bed. Town let their game slip towards half-time conceding twice, however Jacob Butterfield’s strike from outside the box in the second half secured their third win in four games. After scoring just seven times in their opening eight games, Huddersfield have scored nine in their last four.
