League One Preview: Coventry City v Bristol City

Team News

There can be no doubt that recent disappointing results for Coventry can in some part be put down to the series of injuries Steven Pressley’s squad has been hit with. For tomorrows match, Pressley is likely to be without 4 crucial players with Captain Reda Johnson facing further time on the sideline following his 3 match suspension with a groin injury whilst his centre back partner Seb Hines looks likely to miss out with a knee injury. Elsewhere, City will be without the work engine and craft of John Fleck in the middle of the park whilst loan striker Frank Nouble continues his absence with a troubling hip problem.

Bristol look set to be without midfielder Korey Smith for tomorrows game

The Robins do not have the same injury concerns as the Sky Blues, although will be disappointed to be without instrumental midfielder, Korey Smith who has proved invaluable for Bristol this season in protecting Cotterill’s back 3 line. Smith limped off during the thrilling 3-2 victory over Chesterfield last Saturday and could be a big miss, with Marlon Pack expected to come in to the side.
