The Belgium has impressed since coming to England and has lead Charlton to a second successive unbeaten month. The Addicks are one of Bob Peetersthree clubs that are still unbeaten in the Football League and Peeters has made them a lot more solid at the back. September posed some tough fixtures including games against Norwich, Wolves and Watford but Charlton picked up a total of nine points this month and currently are 7th but only two points off top spot. The Football League said:

“Led Charlton through a second successive unbeaten month in spite of a difficult fixture list. Has brought in organisation and defensive stability. A 1-0 win at Norwich City was the highlight while just two goals were conceded.”
