League One Leyton Orient and Swindon have been charged by the FA for disorderly conduct during their meeting last weekend.
The FA have charged both sides for a “mass
confrontation” in which three players were issued yellow cards for an incident deep into stoppage time in Swindon’s 2-1 win at Brisbane Road on October 4.
The incident took place between players of both sides where Orient’s Dean Cox and Darius Henderson were shown yellow cards, and Swindon’s Yaser Kasim and Wes Foderingham were also booked.
An FA statement read: “Following their game on Saturday 4 October 2014, both Leyton Orient and Swindon Town have been charged for mass confrontation by The FA.
“It is alleged that in or around the 92nd minute of this fixture, both clubs failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.
“The clubs have until 6pm on Friday 10 October 2014 to respond to the charge.”
