PLAYER OF THE WEEKEND: Giuseppe Bellusci – Leeds United
Bellusci wins the award this week for two reasons, one for saving Leeds in a good performance from the Italian and two for his actions after the game. The former Catania player showed some real class after the final whistle, giving his shirt to a disabled fan and having a quick chat before heading into the dressing room.
You don’t always see this kind of thing from footballers, although it happens a little more regularly than we might think, but it was a great job from the cameras to capture that moment for us at home. It was a beautiful moment that really capped off his performance on the field and we tip our hats to Giuseppe Bellusci, one of the good guys in football.
