West Yorkshire Preview

Bradford City will welcome the return to fitness of key defender Andrew Davies on Saturday, as they play at home to struggling Crewe Alexandra. Davies, who has missed the last month with a broken arm, could replace one of either Christopher Routis or Rory McArdle at the heart of the Bradford defence. Saturday will probably come too soon for James Hanson, though, who is returning from injury. Manager Phil Parkinson has called for the Bantams to play with more energy, and the Valley Parade faithful will be hoping his side turn round their recent blip in form.

New Leeds United manager Darko Milanic is still waiting for his first win in charge of Leeds, but their recent form is encouraging. Two wins, a draw and a defeat from their last four games is a sharp turn from the poor start United made to the season. Leeds United take on Sheffield Wednesday in the early kick-off tomorrow, as they aim to improve their current league standing of 12th. If they are to win tomorrow, though, United must keep tabs on Wednesday striker Stevie May. The Scot has been in fine form recently, and must be kept quiet on Saturday.

Huddersfield Town secured a surprise 3-1 win away at Wolves on Tuesday night, but their recent form has not been great. Manager Chris Powell will have a lot of work to do with a squad that underachieved last season, and are currently only 18th in the table. Nahki Wells will be hoping to add to his tally of 6 for the season, as he adapts to life in his first full Championship season.
