To use boss Neil Adams’ words “They had to have the rocket at half-time as the first-half performance was nowhere near good enough”. In the second half it seems that the apparent rocket was just the trick. Within fifteen minutes the scores were level at 2-2 and just over ten minutes later the game was turn on its head when Michael Turner turned the ball into the net. Cameron Jerome secured the win with a late goal to send the Norwich fans wild as they prepared for the trip back to East Anglia. After defeat to Wolves on the opening weekend, Norwich have gone seven games unbeaten in all competitions, winning six and just a lone draw against Bournemouth. It is not always going to be plain sailing in the Championship so this result is a huge marker to put down although Adams will want to avoid performances like that of the first half if at all possible.
