1. Magath is teetering on the edge

The German came to this country with the highest regard from the Bundesliga with his principles of discipline and hard work. Whether these principles are failing to be applied by the players or they simply do not work in England is too difficult to call, but what is for certain is that the pressure is building higher and higher with every poor display. It is early in the season with 90 points still up for grabs in the Championship, however after the 3-0 defeat at the Madjeski, which Magath himself said was a must win, hopes of promotion for the Cottagers seem a very distant dream. I would not be surprised if when writing next weeks 5 things to be commenting how Magath has become the forth Championship manger to leave his post this season.
