Advice to debutants, this isn’t the best thing to do in your debut. Despite conceding twice during the game, new Rovers stopper Peter Brezovan had a relatively decent first game until spilling a shot late on directly into the feet of an on-rushing striker.
As you might imagine, that rampaging forward not only scored but that goal decided the game, a nightmare for any goalkeeper at any stage of your career. Brought in as a replacement for the soon-to-leave Owain fon Williams, Brezovan hasn’t got off to the best of starts to his Tranmere career. Must try harder.
