Ian Holloway – Millwall
Going into the season the Millwall side was very much an unknown quantity. Holloway signed well throughout the summer and after ending the season well to avoid relegation it was always possible that they would start well. However, not many could see them taking ten points from their opening five games through wins against Leeds, Fulham and Blackpool. It was not the trickiest of starts for the Lions and they will have plenty of tests in the coming weeks but confidence is high in the camp and Holloway will be excited to see how far he can take this side this season. Millwall ended the month in fifth, also three points behind leaders Forest.
