Joe Dunne gone from Colchester United

Colchester United boss Joe Dunne has left the League One side by mutual consent, according to the BBC.

The 41-year-old has brought an end to his two year spell with the club after picking up just one point in their first five games, leaving them in 23rd position. Dunne managed to keep the club in the division last season and despite big cuts in the wage bill, the U’s feel that the former defender has taken them as far as he can.
