FANS OF THE WEEKEND: Coventry City
How did the Sky Blues fanbase celebrate going back to the Ricoh Arena? By coming out to support their team in droves as they took over 3,000 fans to Milton Keynes, more than any other team in the Football League. It was a fantastic turnout for Steven Pressley’s men who grinded out a solid 0-0 draw thanks to the exploits of on-loan stopper Ryan Allsop.
It might have been a slightly drab game but the Coventry fans won’t care, they will be in party mode for another few weeks whilst they wait for their return to playing in the city. It’ll be incredible to see them back where they belong and everyone at the The72 are delighted that home fans can watch their team back at their home stadium.
