Tom Lees
The introduction of Tom Lees has no doubt played a huge part in Sheffield Wednesday’s strong start to the season. The Owls were yet to concede a goal going into their match with Millwall at Hillsborough and dominated for large parts. Lees was once again a key figure in a solid defensive display from Wednesday until into second half stoppage time when Magaye Gueye struck. The goal, which no doubt caused heartbreak for Wednesdayites, proves they are not invincible at the back, but fans will take heed from another excellent performance. Things are looking up, not down for the blue side of Sheffield.
