Ross McCormack will be dropped for Fulham’s first home match of the season, according to Get West London.
McCormack, who is the second most most expensive Scottish player of all time, signed for The Cottagers in July for £11m but was brought before the hour mark during Fulham’s 2-1 loss to Ipswich.
Whilst McCormack has been signposted as the main man to get the club back into the Premier League, boss Felix Magath has said he isn’t fit enough to start.
He told GWL: “Unfortunately he wasn’t with us in pre-season and is not in the same condition as the others. Ross has improved but is not enough to start.”
McCormack is the second most popular striker on the Football League’s Fantasy Manager behind Jordan Rhodes.
