Kieran Agard’s potential move to Leeds United is now off, according to Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post.
Earlier, it was reported that a fee had been agreed between the two clubs on Thursday evening after Rotherham had failed to reach a deal with the other interested party, Bristol City.
Whilst the news might not be ideal for Leeds fans, they can take positives from the fact that owner Massimo Cellino is sticking to his budget in an aim to build for the future.
Agard’s future meanwhile looks set to be away from the New York Stadium. The news will no doubt alert Bristol City who may look to make an improved bid in an attempt to add to their strong front-line.
