3 players that could replace Hartlepool’s Luke James if he signs for Peterborough United.

1 Jonathan Franks

The Stockton born attacker has been at Pools since 2012, when Neale Cooper brought him in following his release at Middlesbrough. He has been played out wide in recent seasons but has shown he has an eye for goal. His finishing is significantly better than his crossing, and he’s got a bit of pace about him. Having  coming off the back of one of his better pre-seasons where he has scored goals, could this be his season where he makes that striker position in the Pools side his own? Colin Cooper certainly likes the look of him up front and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Franks start with Marlon Harewood up front.
