4 players that should impress for Brentford this upcoming season

Adam Forshaw

Last years League One Player of the Year, Adam Forshaw, is arguably Brentford’s best player. However, he underwent ankle surgery at the end of April and will probably not be available at the start of the season. Nevertheless, when the returns and if he finds his form quickly, he will Adam Forshawcause many problems for Championship defences.

Forshaw only played one game of pre-season as he is still making his way back to full fitness after  ankle surgery, also there have been  two bids from Wigan that have “unsettled” him according to manager Mark Warburton. Warburton asked Forshaw to stay away from the training ground for a few days, so this could suggest that he is on his way out. Whether Forshaw is playing beautiful passes and scoring 20 yarders in Red or Blue next season is yet the be known, however, either way I reckon that it will impact the Bees’ season.
