Brentford are chasing MLS star Dom Dwyer as their search for a striker intensifies.

Sky Sports News reports that The Bees will turn their attention to 24-year-old Dwyer, after losing out  on Tours striker Andy Delort to Charlton.  Dwyer, currently plays for Kansas City and has found his goalscoring feet netting 14 goals so far this season taking his tally for the club to an impressive 16 goals in 35 games.  He scored the winner as Kansas City won the MLS Cup final last November.

After initially struggling in the MLS he spent last year out on loan at USL Pro league side Orlando City where he scored 15 goals in 13 games.  The ex-Norwich City youth player has been in the US since 2009.

Brentford kick off their Championship campaign against Charlton this Saturday.
