Blackpool make double signing

Blackpool have signed striker Ishmael Miller on a free transfer and John Lundstram on loan from Everton , the BBC reports.

Miller joins after leaving on a free transfer from Nottingham Forest, he spent last season on loan at Yeovil Town scoring 10 goals in 19 games.

The 27-year-old striker turned down an offer from Doncaster Rovers earlier this summer before training with Blackpool, impressing enough to sign a one-year deal with an option of a further 12 months.

Lundstram joins from Everton, the 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Yeovil and Leyton Orient and joins for 12 months.

Blackpool had just 8 senior players at the start of pre-season but the squad has now been strengthened just in time for the Pools’ opening game against Nottingham Forest.
