4) James Norwood – Forest Green Rovers
Norwood is a Posh signing ready made. Young, talented and from non-league.
The 23 year-old scored 19 goals for the Conference Premier side, and assisted 12 others, as Forest Green finished the season 13th in the league.
History states that Posh would be wise to take Norwood. Recent acquisitions from them outside the Football League have been largely successful. Players, and now legends, such as Aaron McLean and George Boyd were both scouted and acquired when playing in non-league.
Norwood has also been on in impressive form for Forest Green in pre-season, including a brace against a massively talented Arsenal XI.
They say that if you are a natural goalscorer, you can score at any level. Mr Norwood certainly appears to be one of them, so why not take a risk?
The prospect of a jump to League One could well prove too tempting for the non-league hotshot. Will Posh take advantage?
