Brighton and Hove Albion v Sheffield Wednesday – Match Preview

My Prediction

Both teams will be vying to start the season with a positive result but for me the Seagulls have a stronger squad and I don”t think the uncertainty surrounding the takeover situation at Hillsborough will be helping Wednesday prepare for the match. I fancy both teams to score but Brighton to get the three points and record a 2-1 victory over the Owls. If you head over to William Hill then you”ll find Brighton to win 2-1 is available at odds of 15/2. I”d also fancy former Wednesday player Chris O”Grady to get his name on the scoresheet on his competitive debut for Albion and you can get odds of him to score first/last of 4/1 or if you want to put some money on him to score anytime then that”s available at 13/10.

I don”t expect Brighton to run away with the match and it will probably be a tight affair but I think it”ll be the Seagulls who achieve victory on the opening day and expect the Wednesdayites make the long trek home empty handed.
